City of Wells Bowling Club was formed in 1914, and is a very active and friendly bowling club.
The Mens Section have teams in two Leagues - Somerset County and Mid Somerset. The Ladies have a team in the Wild League. There are ample friendly matches to participate in and Club Competitions for all levels.
The Club Coach Roy Merrifield holds coaching sessions on Tuesdays at 6 p.m. but other times can be arranged to suit new members. All new members are very welcome.
How to find us:
The Bowling Green is situated in the Recreation Ground Wells, adjacent to the Bishops Barn. The Recreation Ground can be accessed off Silver Street, or off South Street (behind Somerfield).
